Course Overview

Using a combination of step by step instructions, activity exercises and written assessment, you’ll learn 5 different card making techniques to create a series of unique cards.

It’s the perfect course for those new to the art of card making – or experienced crafters looking to extend their card making skills.  

Try out some new crafting techniques under expert written instruction whilst creating a series of stunning handmade cards.

 

What you Need

All you need is a desire to make the most of the skills covered.  Because you work the projects at home, when you want to, there's no need to feel rushed.  You can take all the time you need.

The Projects

The Card making course has been designed to offer you a broad range of card techniques, some of which may be familiar to you. 

The Card Projects included in the Course are:

3D Flower Card
Somerset Patchwork
Shadow Quilting
Tea Bag Folding
Foil Embossing 

 

Layout

Each project is written in small sections, giving you regular opportunities to complete practical tasks as you work through the instructions.

What You Get

The course comes with the specialist materials you'll need, together with details of the other craft materials you'll have to gather before you begin.

 

Support

As  a Craft Teacher I've been supporting learners in mastering crafts for a number of years.  Although  you aren't in a physical classroom you can still get any extra support you need. 

 

Assessment
On completion of each project, send in your finished card,  carefully packed, for written Professional Feedback. 

The Course Leader – Geraldine Jozefiak, is a Further Education Honours Graduate, Certified Professional Demonstrator, National Craft Judge, Mentor, Craft Trainer and Assessor.

She also wrote the course!

 

Qualification

On completion you will receive The Craft Teacher - 'Introduction to Creative Card Making'  Certificate. 

The Craft Teacher has been teaching children, adults, carers, helpers, volunteers and trainers in crafts, teacher-training and reminiscence work for the past 15 years.

 

What Next - Progression

Once you’ve mastered the basics you may choose to start your own card making business, teach others, demonstrate or speak about your cards or learn how to create your own website to promote your new abilities. 

There are many ways for you to turn your investment into earning opportunities.

 

Price
The course includes a Paper Version of the Course in an A4 Ringbinder, specialist materials, support, feedback, certification costs and worldwide shipping and handling for £249.

A download version will be available on successful completion of payment. 

The Binder and materials will be sent via Royal Mail  parcels.
