Looking for a Spanish sympathy card? Try Hallmark’s Sinceramente range

These special bilingual greeting cards meet a gap in the market forthose looking for a  .

They were created to reflect the culture of the younger Hispanics who are comfortable using both languages. Hallmark research shows that bilingual cards are most popular with Hispanic consumers in the 18 to 40 age group. Consumers say they like bilingual cards because they reflect the way they talk with their friends.

Hallmark's own research states – "Taking into account these cultural sensitivities, bilingual cards often contain casual, light-hearted sentiments and are not created for serious occasions, such as sympathy. Bilingual cards are usually aimed at younger recipients and friend-to-friend sending, rather than for relationships with mothers, aunts or grandmothers, who may not approve of mixing languages".

The bilingual cards do not have translations on the back, as the Spanish-language cards do, since they are designed for senders and recipients who understand both languages. The messages are designed to reflect the characteristics, behaviors, values, and languages of their two cultures.

Much thought has gone into collecting responses from the Hispanic communities in Miami, New York and San Antonio and the cards were created with sensitivity to their cultures and language.

The range now includes over 2,500 cards in Spanish covering cards for all occasions such as birthday, Quinceañera, love, get well, and friendship, as well as holiday wishes.

So if you are looking for a Spanish Sympathy card (amongst others) that reflects your Hispanic origins, Hallmark can help.
