Surgery get well cards have a growing market!

The is alive and well, catering for a growing number of people who undergo elective surgery. There are, as we know many forms of surgery, some medically vital, others entirely voluntary. 11.5 million people consulted with a cosmetic surgeon and had some form of plastic surgery in 2005 and the numbers are growing.

Most of us know of at least one person who has had either a nose job, a breast augmentation, Botox, a face-lift or liposuction. With today’s trend for  beauty enhancement, surgery get well cards and recovery greeting cards are enjoying extreme good health and are the perfect way to send your thoughts to someone recovering from any form of ‘invasive surgery’.

These days there are surgery cards and get well greeting cards for any occasion and we might feel hard-pressed to find some of them appropriate. With their ‘tight, focused greetings’ however, they are a great way of sending support, encouragement and understanding, when you can’t be there.

Whether it’s a walk in process, or a hospital stay, a surgery get well card can lift the spirits of those undergoing their personal choice of plastic  - (or other form type of) surgery. And what’s more they are increasingly available – both online, and surprisingly, in the high street.

One of my favorites is www.liftmeupcards.com which takes a light-hearted stance at the different types of surgery available.  They include wrinkles, nose, veins, twins and lipo in their range and are sure to lift the mood of anyone who receives them. A great range of cards

Sometimes an offbeat, almost irreverent look at surgery may be just the type of greeting you need, but you’ll need to match the ‘message’ to the patient carefully and judge your selection carefully. Times of recovery and not the moment to try out any personal views of the event -so tread carefully.

For those of you who know the recipient well, there’s a truckload of cards out there from serious, fun, to off-the-wall and it pays to spend a bit of time matching the event with the person.

No personal life event seems out of bounds these days when it comes to greeting cards and the range of card ‘moments’ is continually evolving.

So when someone you know is undergoing surgery check out your favorite card supplier.  You should find they too have a category dedicated to surgery get well cards and recovery cards.
