Make someone smile with a Happy Card – it’s good for them
Scientists have long known that smiling is beneficial so getting – or sending a Happy Card is good for us Every time you see a card that makes you smile it has a knock on effect. You can't help but be happy. You feel more cheerful and contented and experience a sense of well being.
As the process of looking for a Happy Card is prolonged, the more good you’re receiving and the greater the benefit. Couple that then with extended happy moments – in writing and then posting a card and you’re doubly fortunate.
So the process of selecting a card that makes you smile is good for everyone – for the publishers, the retailers, for you – and the lucky recipient. Even the artist who designed the card derived positive, happy feelings from drawing or painting the cover.
Smiling lifts the spirits and helps any case of the doldrums. You can’t help but feel better when you smile. You can’t prevent it from happening – it’s a physiological response to a visual or emotional stimulus – regardless of culture. Happiness causes us to smile, and smiling makes us happy! It’s a win-win situation.
A Happy Card is bound to be well received. You can use it to say… 'Thinking of you’, or perhaps 'Just Because’, or even ‘ Heard You Were Down’… there are any number of occasions when a Happy Card will be just perfect. You may not even have to write much of a message either – just seeing a happy smiling face will banish the blues.
Think how much we all have come to accept and use the Smilie in our every day lives.
The Smilie was a phenomenon when it was first created. A simple idea that caught on and become emblazoned on anything from badges to bum bags. People loved to wear a Smilie – it made them feel good and it brought a smile to those who saw them. The Smilie is a common part of our texting and emailing too. Smilies – or Emoticons can be added to anything from Skype messages to SMS.
Yes, we all love to see and share a smile. So check out a Happy Card today and add it to your card-sending repertoire.
