A baby get well card sends love to both parents and child

There are few more emotional moments than choosing and writing a baby get well card .  For all those concerned – the family – and the wider social community, get well wishes for babies are truly heartfelt.  Seeing the suffering of such tiny babies, and witnessing the sadness of grief of their parents is difficult for all of us who support them.  A baby get well card is a tiny thing – just like the poorly babe, but as with any time of group well wishes, it can offer comfort and support, when words are at a loss.

Because card publishers know that these are difficult times, they offer a range of cards, styles, verses and words.  We may want a fairly neutral card to sign, or perhaps something more personal and appropriate.  We won’t have to look far to find what we need.

It’s always good to read the words of such cards carefully to make sure that they speak the words in our hearts.  Some are simple, others more emotional.  You will know the right words to share with those you are supporting and you can add some of your own too.

You can be sure that the parents will feel re-assured of your love and care and be genuinely touched by your thoughtfulness.  These cards are something that they can come back at a later time to remind them of the affection that surrounded them all.

Whilst doctors and nurses do all they can at these times, the love and support of those in their social circle means so much.  A baby get well card is a small gesture at one of life’s big moments.
