How to choose your Baptism Thank You Card
The days of the plain baptism thank you card are numbered. Make room now for a range of highly personalized cards, which can feature your own choice of baby photographs taken at the event. Your photos can turn your baby’s special day into a lasting memento.
There are a number of sites that cater specifically for these treasured occasions. With cards of heavy vellum and speciality paper stock, they transform your cherished pics into little works of art just perfect for your baptism thank you card.
You can also find speciality handmade mulberry paper cards with ivory inserts that are perfect for you hand-written message. Some ranges have the added feature on a matching image on the inner leaf.
Of course the choice of how to go through the baptism thank you card process is entirely yours and rather than opt for a timely personalized card, you may choose to rush off a few notes on plain writing paper.
Just remember that the event is a notable one in yours, your baby’s, and the larger family group’s memory and marking the occasion with some well chosen cards will be something that you can all look back on in the years to come.
It’s worth spending a bit of time looking around at what’s available so as not to limit your options. Don’t be tempted to rush for the ‘bog standard’ off-the-shelf pre-package, unless that of course suits your budget, and your emotions.
Remember that the all thank you cards build on existing relationships for the future and whilst it is you – the parent who is writing the cards, you do so on behalf of your little one. So baptism thank you card wording is equally important.
As you’re building his/her standing within your family community, your choice of the right Baptism - or Christening Thank You Card (as it's also known) is worth a longer look.
