Celebrate Menopause Awareness Month with a Blue Mountain Greeting Card
Blue Mountain Greeting Cards are celebrating Menopause Awareness Month with a specially released card. The Food and Drug Administration’s Office for Womens Health (FDA) is implementing a nationwide information campaign to raise awareness about the resources available to address questions related to the benefits and risks of hormone therapy for menopausal symptoms.
According to Census data from 2000, there are about 37.5 million women reaching or currently at menopause (ages 40 to 59). FDA wants women to be informed about new and emerging safety information about menopausal hormone treatment.
The first wave of "Baby Boomer" women are now entering menopause.
About 20 million more will reach menopause over the next decade. Polls show that many will turn to their obstetrician-gynaecologist — and to the media — for information.
Blue Mountain is joining in the campaign to raise awareness by adding a care to their range under their Awareness and Activism category to remind her it's not the age that counts. They hope it will remind women – and men, that it's the attitude and what are inside that really matters
If you know someone who’s celebrating their womanhood, or needs reminding of their feminine center, send them a Menopause Awareness Month from the Blue Mountain Greeting Card site.
