Glass painting card kits make it all so easy-peasy
A card kit makes it easy for you to learn new techniques with the least amount of bother. With most of the specialist materials you need, ready to go, learning new ideas couldn't be easier.
Glass painting kits in particular are a a great introduction to this colorful craft whilst showing you how to make some truly individual handmade cards at the same time.
Learning a new glass painting technique can be challenging and kits offer the best way to get started.
As well as other learning and sharing craft publications, The Craft Teacher has a range of easy glass painting kits to help you create some wonderful cards. A popular one is the Acetate and 3-fold card: a 3 part card with a central oval aperture.
The kit comes with 4 methylated-based glass paints, a artist’s small paintbrush, acetate, design and full double page A4 instructions – each step with its own accompanying photograph. The finished card is really professional and is a great way to get started on glass painting. If you’re sharing the project with others, you’ll be pleased to know that it’s also part of a more comprehensive Teacher’s Set which is perfect for classroom crafts.
They also have a more challenging Glitter Pocket Card Glass Painting Kit made from two circles of acetate, one with a painted design. The acetate makes a pocket to trap glitter which makes a great ‘shakeable’ backdrop for your card. This is also available as a teaching project to share with others.
However you learn it, make it or share it, glass painting is easy peasy with the right glass painting kit.
