Why it's important to write your own words in a get well card

It can be hard to know what to write on a get well card, especially if someone is undergoing a long illness.  Normally, we send a get well card when we first hear news of someone being unwell.  It's natural to want to send greeting cards and words of love and support at this time, but as an illness gets drawn out, we can be at a loss to know how to continue with our encouragement.

A baby get well card sends love to both parents and child

There are few more emotional moments than choosing and writing a .  For all those concerned – the family – and the wider social community, get well wishes for babies are truly heartfelt.  Seeing the suffering of such tiny babies, and witnessing the sadness of grief of their parents is difficult for all of us who support them.  A baby get well card is a tiny thing – just like the poorly babe, but as with any time of group well wishes, it can offer comfort and support, when words are at a loss.

Whilst the get well card has its place in showing our concern for speedy recovery over illness, the recovery card is perhaps more concerned with recovery from the mental issues surrounding dependence or trauma. Recovery can also be seen as a lengthy, step-by step process, whereas the get well card applies to more general physical symptoms.
